Tukhlya
SHORT DESCRIPTION
The recreational housing complex in Tukhlya is a modern interpretation of traditional Boyko architecture, seamlessly integrated into the mountainous landscape. The structures are terraced along the natural slope, staggered and rotated relative to one another to ensure unobstructed panoramic views of the mountains from every vantage point. At the lower elevation of the site, a tourist shelter featuring a cafe welcomes arriving guests. Further up lies the owners' residence, while the ascent culminates in two intimate retreat cabins, deliberately oriented toward the scenic vistas to ensure absolute privacy. The architecture of the cabins is restrained and contemporary, yet it retains the essence of Boyko philosophy, perceptible in its proportions, local materials, and form-defining elements.
